Over the years I’ve been moving towards natural treatments and beauty products because I feel like we put enough chemicals into our bodies. The fact of the matter is that nature provides us with all sorts of ingredients that can up our beauty routine. While it provides enough for our entire bodies I want to zone in on a very small but important area today and share some natural beauty tips for the face with you.
The first thing that people notice about you is your face and if you have skin problems or simply don’t feel confident in your looks that may show all over your face. These natural beauty tips have helped me to look my best. Hopefully, they’ll do the same for you.
Natural Beauty Tips For The Face
Use A Homemade Facial Mask
Whether you have dry, sensitive or oily skin, you can’t go wrong with one of these oatmeal face mask recipes. They’re very sensitive and are a great way to naturally soothe your skin. Making a good coffee mask will help to revitalize your skin and give it a healthy looking glow. Be sure to try avocado, honey and banana too. None of these masks are difficult or expensive to make but they do provide great results.
Make A Natural Exfoliator
Exfoliating your skin is a beauty must not only in the wintertime but all year around. It’s a great way to remove the dead skin cells from your skin and encourage your skin to look smooth and healthy. One of my all-time favorites which I’ve recently shared with you is a pomegranate and oive oil face scrub recipe which helps to nourish and hydrate my skin during the cold winter months. If you have dry skin in general I highly recommend this scrub. If you’re not up for making your own exfoliate then I highly recommend the Suki Exfoliate Foaming Cleanser because it doesn’t contain a lot of chemicals in it and it works incredibly well.
Add Raw Milk To Your Skin Care Routine
Raw milk contains calcium, antioxidants, tons of vitamins and protein to name a few but at the end of the day it’s one of the best age old beauty secrets in the world. It’s a natural exfoliant, moisturizer and cleanser. My favorite way to use it is to simply put it on my skin for fifteen minutes and then rinse it off with lukewarm water.
Brighten Up Your Under Eye Area
Carbs aren’t all that bad for you after all. Putting pieces of raw potato under your eye area for ten to fifteen minutes is a great way to reduce under eye circles and puffiness. Something else that you can do is put a cold spoon in the fridge and then press it to your eyes. Either way, 15 minutes is all you need to get rid of those sleepy, gloomy circles.
Get More Sleep
It’s a fact that you don’t look your best when you haven’t been sleeping properly. Your eyes can get puffy and develop some nasty dark circles. You may even find that you smile less when you’re tired and that’s never a good thing. Be sure to get seven to eight hours of sleep a night so that you look and feel refreshed.
Drinking plenty of water, fresh fruits and veggies, fresh fish and yogurt are known to make your skin look and feel it’s best. While it’s ok to have sugary or fried foods on occasion, they should be skipped on a regular basis because they are the causes of a lot of adult acne. They also don’t contain much of the vitamins and minerals that your skin needs.
Pinks, Browns and Nudes
If you’re trying to achieve a natural look then skip the blues and greens and reach for more neutral colors. Pink, brown and nude lipsticks, shadows, blush and other beauty products are available in tons of shades so you’ll be sure to find some that look good together on you.
Blush It Up
If you don’t have naturally rosy cheeks then try applying some blush to give you a healthy look. If blush isn’t your thing then opt for some bronzer which is a great product for getting a healthy glow.
